Frequently Asked Questions

How do I open my Stash bottle?

There are 3 different ways to open your Stash bottle. Method One - Remove the cap, and center your fingers around a tab. Squeeze to open. Method Two - Remove the cap, and clasp your hands and squeeze to open with your palms. Method Three - Remove the cap, and balance the Stash bottle on its side. Give it a firm chop with your other hand. It can take it!

How do I clean my Stash bottle?

We recommend rinsing out your Stash bottle thouroughly before your first use and cleaning it regularly. Due to the Stash's flexible design, we do not recommend placing it in the dishwasher. Method One - Fill your bottle with warm water and use a bottle brush along with mild soap to scrub it clean. Rinse well and set upside down to dry. Method Two - Fill your bottle with warm water and drop in one Bottle Bright tablet, let sit for up to fifteen minutes. Rinse and set upside down to dry.

Perfect!

I love to go to baseball games, but hate to pay $6 dollars for water, all while creating more plastic trash. I just tuck my stash into my purse and fill it at the water fountain when I get inside! This bottle is also perfect for my dog when hiking. I just squeeze the water to the top for her to drink out of.

Backpack, snowshoe, and hike even lighter!

The Stash is the perfect backpacking companion! Compact, lightweight even when full (consider other plastic or metal water bottles then add water = weight). Add to this, durability and functionality and this little guy is a good friend to have whether trekking for days in the backcountry, or just out for a day hike stroll around town. Travel right, travel light!

Design + Utility

This bottle is a utilitarian's dream come true - 1L water bottle that collapses to a small, lightweight disc for easy storage and transportation. We love to use this bottle for hiking and backpacking. We usually use electrolytes in this bottle so we can keep our reservoirs for fresh water only. It's super easy to clean as well. This is also perfect for taking to the airport. Keep it in your carry-on and once you're through the security line, expand and fill it up! One note - since the body of the water bottle is soft and flexible, it's not the best for one-handed drinking or using while driving a car and the only suggestion would be to have a tether for the lid. Other than that, this has replaced all our other hiking water bottles!

Great bottle

Awesome bottle! A little hard to open at first so just squeeze it with your palms and that makes it a bit easier. I use it a lot for hiking.

Indispensible for mountaineering

I always keep a collapsed Hydrapak in my mummy bag for use as a bottle when nature calls in the middle of the night at -20 degrees. (I don't believe there is another wide opening collapsible bottle on this planet)!

A near perfect bottle

Great bottle for everyday use and traveling. The material is very durable, and love the collapsing body and wide mouth. The only improvement I'd suggest is adding a leash to the cap.

Good Gear!

Purchased at REI... traveled in the Middle East for 10 days. After learning the key to expanding the bottle, I found it to be usable in terms of rigidity, filling, holding, yet was still flexible and lightweight. When fixed to a pack the typical impact from bouncing of a hard structured bottle was gone! My only design suggestion is a tether for the cap.

Most Versatile Water Bottle on the Market

The Stash Bottle has been a game-changer. It is lightweight enough not to weigh me down and is small enough when collapsed to stow away in small bags where preserving space is critical. This is useful for soccer games by filling it up and using in-game and then collapsing and placing in my cleat bag post-game for the ride home. Five-stars!

EVERYDAY Essential - Great Product

Really loving my Stash bottle! Highly recommend for active lifestyles. I chose the Stash because of three simple reasons: efficiency, travel capabilities and its unique look (no more debating of which bottle is mine or my roommates). Like all my plastic bottles, I made sure to wash with warm, soapy water with a hint of lemon before and haven’t had an issue of taste. The Stash comes everywhere with me from my office desk to outdoor adventures.

My boyfriend and I love to hike but before the Stash bottle we would always sacrifice at least one water bottle in order to not have extra weight and to allow more space for other essentials. Now with the Stash, we don’t have to worry about rationing our water or if we have enough space for other goodies.
