We're expanding our Re_Pak program! Originally introduced as a pilot program to reduce waste in the hydration space, we are scaling up Re_Pak nationwide. This year, we aim to collect four times as many bottles as 2024, 300 collection boxes!
In 2024, the Re_Pak program collected approximately 900 bottles, diverting 170 pounds of plastic from landfills.
“Last year, Re_Pak was an invitation. This year it’s a movement gaining momentum,” said HydraPak President and CEO Matt Lyon. “We’ve seen firsthand that when you give outdoor enthusiasts a simple way to make a difference, they’ll show up. Re_Pak reflects our continued commitment to innovation, not just in product design, but in how we care for the planet and support the communities who explore it.”
The program accepts squeezable LDPE and PP bottles from any brand, including CamelBak, Polar Bottle, Specialized, UltraAspire, Nathan, Amphipod, Gatorade, Powerade, and more. Give your used sport bottles a second life by transforming them into durable composite construction materials through a partnership with a CHaRM (Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials) facility in Boulder, Colorado.
Clean out your gear bins and drop off eligible bottles at participating retailers and select outdoor events including:
- Sports Basement - across thirteen locations in California
- Red Rock Bicycle Co - three locations in Utah
- SwimFreak - two locations in Texas
- Intermountain Cup Racing Series - in Utah (May 17 - November 15, 2025)
- Gravel Worlds - in Lincoln, Nebraska (August 20-24, 2025)
- Big Sugar Classic - in Northwest Arkansas (October 12-18, 2025)
